30 Days of Prayer For Refugees: Day 7

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Heavenly Father

Confidently and boldly we lay hold of your throne of grace and bring to you our neighbours who have had to flee for their lives and have now joined our community. Your Mercy and grace has shaped our lives, that our lives might reflect yours. Empower us now by the power of your Holy Spirit so that we might be able to extend your mercy through tangible acts of love and service to all you send our way, especially the refugees of this city. Lord Jesus we have received so much from you, help us now, share what we have received from you to those in need around us. Amen.
