30 Days of Prayer for Refugees- Day 17

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Through the ages, O God, You have used journeys—the uncertainties, the hardships, and the unknowns—to guide people to better places and to hold them closely. You have revealed Yourself as a spring in the desert, a pillar of fire, a plume of smoke, a voice from the clouds.

In ways beyond our imagining, go among and before those who flee persecution, harm, and hopelessness. Grant them safety, hope, and new life, even in difficult and exhausting days. Be their light and their salvation; we ask in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
