The global refugee crisis is a complex human story of forced displacement, resilience, and the search for safety. Gateway of Grace stands with those who have been forced to flee their homes, offering a bridge from survival to a new beginning in Dallas.
What Is a Refugee?
A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee their country because of persecution, war, or violence. They have a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. Unlike immigrants who choose to move for better opportunities, refugees are survivors of circumstances that made staying in their homeland impossible.
